Matheesha Pathirana 4-4
Matheesha Pathirana has been bowling at an impressive speed of 150 kmph consistently and disrupting Titans batters’ momentum, giving hosts firm control of this contest.

Mustafizur Rahman took only 10 deliveries to silence RCB’s top-order, as their batsmen danced to his tune. Faf du Plessis, Rajat Patidar and Virat Kohli fell victim to Mustafizur Rahman’s fast bowling; later Deepak Chahar, Tushar Deshpande and Matheesha Pathirana joined him to tighten down on Gujarat. Shubman Gill and Wriddhiman Saha attempted valiantly but they simply couldn’t salvage enough runs from Gujarat for victory.
The hosts need a massive total in the final over if they hope to salvage this game and reach the playoffs, yet two wickets would be fatal in that endeavor. Rahman bowled an effective over this time as he went full and around off. Rahul Tewatia attempted hard but only struck thin air.

Chahar got off to an impressive start in his second over, restricting visitors to just four runs off it and trapping Shubman Gill LBW with an excellent length ball that was slightly low but pitched perfectly, surprising both batsman and captain alike. Shubman attempted to review but failed in overturning this decision.
Chahar continues his impressive run as he strikes again by dismissing Wriddhiman Saha for 21 runs off 17 balls, after he misjudged Chahar’s delivery and mishit it to Tushar Deshpande at short third man.
Gujarat suffer a devastating blow when their openers depart. Sai Sudharsan made an impactful three-ball 37; however, their other batsmen failed to have much impactful.
The hosts scored 206/6 in 20 overs thanks to an incredible half century from Shivam Dube (23-ball 51) and solid contributions from Ruturaj Gaikwad (20-ball 46).
