Henrich Klaasen strikes back against Axar Patel with another spectacular six! Klaasen’s powerful batting has now caused major concern for Indian bowlers.
Klaasen responded in the next over by smashing Rabada’s full toss straight down the ground for another four. With only 16 runs left to win in these final two overs, Indian batsmen look in danger of crumbling under pressure as the score climbs towards 132 runs.

But in the following three overs there was increased run scoring from India – Axar Patel and Kohli formed an outstanding fourth-wicket partnership to soothe India’s early nerves before Quinton de Kock made an incredible throw to bowl Kohli out after 31 balls at 72 runs off just 31 deliveries!
Even without Axar in his side, Kohli still had another capable partner in left-hander Shivam Dube who scored 48 off only 24 balls. Axar was eventually run out by de kock in the penultimate over, but not before Kohli managed to hit a boundary off the first ball of the final over.
Proteas had just 16 runs to win off their final over, as they had just seven wickets with which to fight off. Bumrah answered Rohit’s call for wicket in this over by dismissing Marco Jansen. In doing so, Bumrah earned himself two wickets, giving India an extraordinary victory – Bumrah achieved a fifer and earning himself the “Player of the Tournament” accolade and becoming the only bowler ever in T20 cricket history to achieve this feat!
