1. Arkansas QB Austin Allen

Arkansas Razorbacks football team represents the University of Arkansas system in NCAA Division I FBS college football and competes in the Southeastern Conference (SEC).

2. Arkansas RB Jeremy Hill

Jeremy Hill, a junior running back from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has amassed more than 100 yards rushing in each of his last three contests.

An LSU graduate and Longhorns alumnus himself, Hill was instrumental in Texas’ dominating performance at the Outback Bowl, becoming the first SEC player since Bobby Lane of Texas against Iowa back in 1946 to achieve such an accomplishment simultaneously.

Texas scored on its initial two drives, with Hill scoring another touchdown run in the second quarter to extend their lead by halftime (24-6). Texas then controlled play during the final period; his third score paved the way to their victory.

Hill has scored at least one touchdown in seven out of ten games this year, including his career-best 124-yard performance against Ole Miss (Nov 2) that earned him SEC Co-Freshman of the Week honors.

He rushed for more than 100 yards against Florida, Mississippi State, and Furman during victories this year – amassing 1,024 total yards on 22 attempts with nine touchdowns scored this campaign.

He caught five passes for 97 yards and the Longhorns defense sacked Arkansas quarterback Austin Allen eight times – Liona Lefau returned a forced fumble for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter – to secure Texas its 12th consecutive regular-season win against Arkansas and pushed their all-time series record to 58-23.

Texas will look to extend this streak in Saturday night’s Cotton Bowl at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium which will be broadcast live by ABC.

3. Arkansas WR Dameon Johnson

Arkansas wideout Dameon Johnson is one of the nation’s premier receivers and once again made headlines during this contest with his big play in this third quarter game against Texas. On the second play of that third quarter quarter Dameon ran for 50 yards for an Arkansas first down at Texas 3-yard line.

On Arkansas’ next play, quarterback Austin Allen connected with Johnson for a 6-yard score to give them the lead at 21-20. Texas responded quickly by mounting an 11-play, 75-yard drive culminating with Parker Livingstone scoring his team.

With his score, Manning became the first Texas quarterback since Bobby Layne did it against Missouri in 1946 in Cotton Bowl Classic to record all three touchdowns — running, passing, and receiving — during a single game. He amassed 389 yards passing and six total touchdowns over his sophomore campaign.
