The league is a platform to build Kerala’s next generation of match-ready cricketers, with each team picking its squad from players scouted across district and club circuits. It follows a double round-robin format, with each team playing each other twice during the league stage, before a playoff phase and final to decide the KCL 2024 champion.
The tournament has been played at the Greenfield International Stadium in Karyavattom, Thiruvananthapuram, since 2024, and this season sticks with that tradition. The venue has hosted full India men’s ODI and T20I teams, so expect a flat, batting-friendly track throughout the tournament.
Every KCL match is broadcast live on Star Sports in English and Asianet in Malayalam. Follow the Kerala Cricket Team Schedule for match timings, live score updates, and tournament results, with exclusive commentary from Sachin Baby for top matches.
