LSG vs SRH 2025 IPL Match Prediction
LSG are still in contention for a playoff berth; however, should they lose, their season will come to an end. As it stands now, LSG are seventh with 10 points from 11 matches and have an unfavorable net run-rate of -0.469.
Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head’s batting has struggled, with both players becoming less effective over the course of five innings, their strike rates dropping below 100 in each of those innings, and having one of the worst powerplay economies in the league this season.
Meanwhile, bowler Akash Deep’s performance has been inconsistent while Shardul Thakur and Mayank Yadav failed to meet their hype; only legspinner Digvesh Rathi has provided any stability.
New Zealand fast bowler Will O’Rourke will step in as Mayank Yadav’s replacement at Ekana Cricket Stadium, joining players such as Nicholas Pooran, Aiden Markram, and David Miller in an attacking line-up for their team. Furthermore they retained Ravi Bishnoi, Ayush Badoni, Mohsin Khan, Avesh Khan as well as purchasing Shamar Joseph with Right-To-Match card status for continued services.
SRH have struggled to build any momentum with their batting this season. Their marquee auction picks Ishan Kishan and Mohammed Shami have failed to deliver, with Kishan only averaging 11.3.

Sunrisers Hyderabad was one of the top teams in IPL last season and is looking to end their campaign on a strong note. After winning their tournament opener, Sunrisers have fallen on hard times since and lost four out of their last five matches.
Their playoff hopes remain alive, but to secure them they need to win all three remaining matches against struggling opposition – starting off with taking on Lucknow Super Giants at Ekana Stadium on Monday in Match 61.
LSG have only collected 10 points out of 11 games so far and sit in seventh position, one game behind Delhi Capitals.
Their poor form can largely be blamed on Rishabh Pant’s slow form having an adverse impact on their team; additionally they lack depth to compete against a Sunrisers side boasting an incredible batting lineup.
It will take an impressive display from a side with few top-class batsmen to defeat SRH and their trio of Mitchell Marsh, Nicholas Pooran and Rishabh Pant.
Even with an excellent bowling unit and the Ekana surface providing optimal conditions for batsman like Marsh, Pooran and Pant to thrive. But even so, they may prove difficult opponents for home sides like Hyderabad in this match-up.
At such an inviting pitch, it is hard to imagine any team scoring less than 175 runs in their opening innings; Sportsbook currently offers odds in the early 180s at around 6/5; that short could prove particularly lucrative given that Sunrisers have won only one out of 19 first innings chases on this ground so far and are unlikely to do so this time around.
SRH have some quality bowlers in their ranks, but are currently playing without Adam Zampa and Travis Head due to injuries, as well as Wiaan Mulder being unavailable. With that being said, they may bring in Kamindu Mendis as one of their final options alongside Ravi Bishnoi and Manimaran Siddharth who are both back fit.

LSG have struggled this season against Ishan Kishan and Shakib Al Hasan’s powerplay efforts, with their strike rate amongst the lowest in the league. Additionally, their top order remains fragile without Pant; Nicholas Pooran may find it challenging to recover against a formidable SRH attack.

With only two games left this season, LSG appear to have all but sealed their fate and now risk missing out on playoff spots altogether. They must win both their remaining fixtures while hoping that Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals lose both games to avoid the relegation zone.
Aiden Markram and Nicholas Pooran have shown promising form since resumption, with an opening stand of 117 from 10 overs forming a solid basis on which to build upon.
SRH’s bowlers have kept the scoreboard under control, and appear likely to reach 220 before any significant challenge can come from home side. Henrich Klassen and Kamindu Mendis are doing their jobs, but without support from their teammates they won’t be able to accomplish much.
